Africa’s Christian story is vast and powerful, yet much of it remains undocumented. This book seeks to preserve the spiritual heritage of the continent by recording the lives and works of those who have shaped its modern faith journey. It will serve as an educational and inspirational resource for generations to come.

It is the first comprehensive work to chronicle the lives of multiple African Christian generals from across the continent, told from an African perspective. It transcends denominational boundaries and celebrates the diversity and unity of the African Church.

The project is spearheaded by Nathan Kiwere, a Ugandan writer and publisher, working together with a team of Christian ministers,  researchers, and historians passionate about telling Africa’s stories of faith. It is a collaborative effort that welcomes the participation of individuals and institutions who share a vision for documenting God’s work on the continent.

The author will travel across various African countries from November 2025 to December 2026, collecting primary data through interviews, archives, and field documentation and working with local research teams. The focus will be on authenticity and inclusivity, ensuring that leaders from diverse denominations and regions are represented.

Upon completion, God’s African Generals will be translated into several languages and distributed for free to select ministries, theological institutions, and school libraries around the world. This approach ensures that the message of faith, leadership, and transformation reaches a wide and lasting audience.

Through interviews, archival research, field visits, and collaboration with local ministries, church historians, and Christian institutions to gather authentic stories and testimonies.

The research phase will conclude by December 2026, followed by writing, editing, and translation. Publication is projected for mid-2027, after which distribution will commence.
